The Company enjoyed packed houses at the Joyce Theater and rave reviews in the New York City press last week. Norwood (“PJ”) Pennewell’s choreographic debut, Hylozoic, was hailed as a “promising, sophisticated start” by The New York Times, and impressed audiences with its "elegant" choreography. According to Deborah Jowitt of The Village Voice, Garth Fagan’s premiere, Thanks Forty , was a “celebratory suite” that demonstrated his thoughtful use of “dynamic texture.” She writes, “Fagan unleashes his most carefree blend of form and exuberant physicality.” Read the full reviews from The New York Times and The Village Voice.
